    Default Fish Quilt

Hello~ Made this fish quilt for my cousin's husband who is still recovering from his bone marrow transplant. He's an avid fisherman and missed out on the fishing season this year due to his illness. When I gave it to him his wife said she "hadn't seen that big of a smile on his face for a long time!". It was a kit I bought at a LQS and the pattern said "Glamping Mystery" but I know that's not the actual name of the pattern. I FMQ'd fishing poles in the border and it has oh-so soft minkee on the back. So glad he liked it and I will definitely make this one again.

Lovely quilt! Isn't it great to make someone so happy? I've so far only made one big bed quilt and that one is on my own bed... But I've given away a number of baby quilts, and seeing the recipients (or rather their parents) enjoying them is the best reward to me!

What a perfect gift for him! The fish make him smile while the plush Minkee wraps him in comfort. And bonus for your cousin -- it goes perfectly with the colors of the couch! Great job!!!
