So here are some pics of a flannel crazy quilt I have been working on for 3 years on and off. ( some many other quilts got in the way.) It's for my DH. He can't wait till I finally finish it. I have more to add to it. Some ric/rac and more fancy stiches, but it's gotten a lot closer to it's final destination.

So it is all various jewel tone flannel pieces. Some have a small print. I plan on putting a very small dark blue boarder around each block and then adding a wider black border followed by a dark gold to frame it then the outside border with this stamped rust flannel peice. I'll send more pics once it's finished.

    the overall view thus far

Looks very nice so far, I can't wait to see it finished. It is very bright and cheerful. I know what you mean about other things getting put in front. They do seem to eventually get done though, nice not to have a deadline, it is less stressful that way.

That is one patient man you have there! He will really appreciate it when it's done and he can cuddle with it! :)
