What a blessing you received and just in time! I went to one today and bought a beautiful old hand quilted quilt. The quilt is almost worn out but the quilting on it is gorgeous! It was only $5 so I got it. I also found a beautiful old doll quilt for 25 cents. The fabrics in it are feed sacks.

Just to let you know... I bought the same cutting mat at Walmart, but mine is blue. They still had them three days ago when I went to buy paint. I just HAVE to go touch the fabric, even if i usually buy from my local quilt shops.

Great finds both on the estate sale and the sewing machine.

I'm 'trying' to stay away from any sales for at least another month. So far so good!
