    Very nice and amazing organization! Do you sort by "types"...charm squares/layer cakes/etc or by color or both? Love your room. Thanks for posting a picture!!

    Generally, I sort by theme or type, such as:

    * Children's fabrics
    * 1930s Repros
    * Flannels
    * Civil War Repros
    * Wovens
    * Holiday
    * Layer Cakes
    * Jelly Rolls

    organized? You mean I'm supposed to be organized? I love organization - it brings such peace to my life, but I am incapable of organizing. Can't explain it. My brain just doesn't work that way. If someone gets me organized, then I can maintain it, but I can't seem to do it for myself.

    Also, Eddie, I'm curious to know what kind of machine you use. What wonderful workspace.

    I'm glad to see you do it this way. I do too, but it seems everyone sorts by color - I was beginning to feel like the odd one out. Nice to know I'm in such good company!

    My main machine that I piece and quilt on is a Brother QC-1000. The smaller embroidery machine is a LB-6770 and was a freebie that I got when I bought the QC-1000. I love them both!
