that is a super sewing room, I work on an alcove off the laundry room in the garage, it is amazing how much stuff I can cram in there, but it has 2 beautiful large windows overlooking the harbor so I count my blessing! Good luck on your move!

OMG what a fantastic sewing room, I would be sad to leave it behind also; but being closer to family is a big thing, as I'd love to be closer to my family in the Midwest. Although after 35 years New England has been my home and I'd hate to leave my DS, DDIL and adorable DGD, guess I'll stay. No contest.

That definitely is a great room. However, it sounds like the new house has a great space to design a new quilting room, especially since you'll be able to have your LA in the same room now.

Wow, I would miss that room also, is there a way you could box it up and sneak it in the luggage?

We are starting to plan for a new house with a designated quilt room. I love your room and the layout. What are the dimensions of this room?

On the good side of moving to central Ohio - there are loads and loads of GREAT quilt shops in Columbus and within a couple hours of Columbus!

Let me know if you would like a list of them!

Meanmom, I was hoping to get moved to Ohio before the show, but it doesn't look like that will happen. I went to it a few years ago and had a blast! Definitely next year, though!

Wow, I can understand why you hate to leave that but so glad you'll be back with your families. Good luck from another Ohioan.

Oh Wow!! what a neat sewing room too bad you can't box it up and take it with you. Who wouldn't love to have one like that and with so much space. I'm sure you enjoyed every day you spent there. Hoping you can have one similar or one you love just as much in your new home. Good luck have a safe move and thanks for sharing.
