    I have been working on one on and off for years. I am using my vintage stash as much as possible. Some of the hexies are repros, but most will be original oldies. I love to work on them when they are little. It's relaxing to baste the individual hexies. However, I hate sewing them together when they get way out there. I am making big wheels and then will join the wheels. Want to know if you take out the papers or leave them in until it is done. I have been working on it lately. Don't know how long I will last before putting it away again. LOL

    I take mine out as I go...the only ones I leave in are on the unfished edges. I only remove them as they have been pieced and are no longer an edge. Removing them makes it much easier to piece together as it gets larger =D
