I just finished this grey and white quilt top. My son gave me this fabric for Christmas. I normally sew using purple (and sometimes blue), and he wanted to make sure I didn't already have the fabric he bought. So he bought in colors I don't normally use.

However, I really like this quilt. It seems gentle to me, no shouting. Nothing pops. I actually liked this the whole time I was making it, which is rare for me. I tend to take a look in the middle and say "What was I thinking?' and then continue and end up liking the quilt. But this one I liked the whole time...probably because it was fabric my son selected, right?

Anyway, thanks for looking. Hot Rod, the cat, likes it too, though it is a bit hard to tell.

No, my son isn't interested in quilting, other than generally being supportive of my hobby. He is an artist though, or at least art was his minor in college. I have always trusted his opinion.
