    For me, if I want to enjoy a piece I've made, I continue to display it as long as I want. It's my work & my home.
    I hope you'll leave it up as long as you enjoy it.

    This is one of the reasons I don't make Christmas stuff, or Halloween or Easter or St. Pat's Day.
    I used to put my tatted snowflakes on my Christmas Tree, and a few times left it up until the grass was green outside (minus the other ornaments). One year I left it up all year. I loved looking at at the beautiful snowflakes.

    I'd leave it up until I tired of it. I have 2 carved Santas that are made from drift wood. Before we moved, they were up year around. When I did not get them up after we moved my grandsons insisted - Grandma has Christmas always. I love them so why not.
