    I didn't know what was wrong with it! I agree with everyone else. Just put it together and enjoy it. No one will know and it's still warm and pretty!

    Thanks to all the wonderful people on this board, I am going to be leaving it. I only noticed a difference when looking at a different one and all of a sudden I noticed the difference. I thought oh no..I made mine wrong. I double checked the pattern for the block and everything. Nope it was right on...so I did some more looking, and found out to get the design like I saw, I needed to use a different block. My daughter-in-law loves it as is..after all it is hers..so I am sticking with it. When it is finished I will post pictures. Thanks everyone...makes me feel better.

    I went back to your earlier post and see where you made your mistake. You should have put on two sides of light or dark first and then went on . You did one light and added the dark across from it (like starting courthouse steps) and then got the right layout for log cabin going. I guess you made a log courthouse :oops: But it's a fun story.

    I love prayerquilts comment...a log courthouse..ha ha ha now that makes it sound like an old time quilt. I had to laugh out loud and my two dogs looked at me like I was carzy. ha ha ha

    It's great, the offset gives it movement. It's more dynamic this way.
