Thanks y'all it was a great class. Marci Baker is from Fort Collins, CO and has a book with some really remarkable 3D quilts. The best part was there were no Y seams. Everything came from my stash but next shopping trip I am definitely stocking up on light blender batiks. This is a throw size it's 48 x 72, though it looks narrower than that I guess it's the optical illusion. I pillowcased it instead of having a binding so it goes on and on.

Oh, if y'all decide to make one and purchase the pattern or the book, go ahead and get the 60 degree ruler that she sells too. It makes the pattern easy.

Zing! I click on a link and this incredible feat of color selection, precise piecing and astounding aesthetic brilliance comes up! Wow! I wish I could have been in your class. This is great.

I love illusion quilts, and especially the bright colors you used. Kudos!
