Amazing workmanship. Did you draw anything first?

No, I didn't draw anything, but I did mark the center of the block and a straight line from corner to corner so that I would have a better idea of where to place things.

Too bad the 'attendees' didn't appreciate your wonderful work.

I think, if quilts sale for what they're worth, quilters need to somehow reach a richer cliental. I mean the kind of person who will pay well to have something that no one else has. Almost every town has these neighborhoods. I wonder if quilters could get their work placed better by working through interior designers/decorators? You know, like upholsters, drape makers, etc. Just a thought. I know I couldn't afford to buy a custom made quilt. I can barely afford all the material needed to make one.

Sorry you didn't make many sales but what you gave was priceless...your time. Not very many people would take the time to show how things are made or done. Maybe someone who watched you will use you as a reference the next time someone else makes a comment about quilts being so expensive. They can tell them just what all is involved in making them. Your designs are really beautiful.

Beautiful work and nice display. I would have enjoyed seeing your work in person.
