    Great way to "age" a quilt. I saw a magazine article once where they used the tan Rit dye to age ticking fabric. Also they used bleach on some ticking to get a vintage look.

    You were very brave to do this to a quilt! Glad to know that this works.

    That is so neat! I love the way it toned the colors down, just a bit, but they are still bright. Know he will love it.

    I think that is a great idea. I've heard of giving fabric a tea-bath but think this would work much better. ♥
