    That's ingenious! Now is there a way to ensure it won't fade when he washes it? I haven't used that dye although I know it's been around forever so it must have addressed that aspect -- ??

    I'm hopeing that if the Rit Dye fades the dye in the pieced fabric prints will fade too, which is the goal anyway. It was too bright! :oops:
