    I really like the scrappy look and this quilt has a marvelous, balanced look to its scrappiness. This is real 'eye candy'.

    Oh, oh, oh, I LOOOOVE this quilt!!!! It's bright, it's happy, it's perfect. I can't wait to see it finished. I would keep the quilting simple so it doesn't distract. An all-over meander, maybe a geometric, would be perfect.

    I'm not a bear paw fan but I think I actually like it when it's scrappy. Since you made it while your DIL was expecting, why don't you just try to finish it up before the grandchild moves into it's first twin bed, it'll go with any colors.
