Default King size quilt as you go

I make the scrappiest mishmash quilts I have ever seen, but I do enjoy making and finishing them. This one is gifted and I hope it will work out for them. Quilting done on an old Kenmore that is literally falling apart, using Mono Poly monofilament thread, and done as quilt as you go. It is reversible, and it ended up 96 inches by 110 inches. So pretty big for me.

    Thanks for checking it out.

I love the playfulness of your quilt. It's just the kind of scrappiness that I enjoy.

Ahhh...I hope they feel the same way. I figured they could just throw it over them on the sofa when it gets chilly, if nothing else.

It's amazing how you put all those different blocks together to come up with this fun quilt!

The pinwheel were left overs that I have been wanting to incorporate into something. They are about ten inches or so.

Scrappy meets modern! I'm always a fan of scrappy. The design you've put together reminds me of the graphic trend that is so popular in modern quilting right now. Something interesting to look at everywhere you look. Well done!

It is for a young couple so it is good to hear that it has somewhat of a modern feel to it. Thank you for that.

I was hoping that the purple and white blocks were a little calming and not so busy.

It took me about 10 weeks of hit and miss sewing. Cutting those pieces and putting back together is time intensive for me, and I am not known to be particularly efficient. I grab as I go, so nice to hear that the colors are totally crazy and incohesive. Thank you.
