    Default lap quilt of leftovers

I'm not the fastest quilt-maker, so in an effort to use up scraps and to gift the finished project, I am working small.
About a year ago I used most of this fabric for a sudoku quilt for one friend. This is what was left and for simplicity I did 2" squares in a nine-patch with 2" borders. There is practically nothing left...It gets delivered this week.
Machine pieced and hand quilted; thin batting and plain white fabric on the back; dark brown binding with a floral pattern. There are words in French on some of the fabrics which either I cannot read or which make no sense. I think the brown oval things are supposed to be eggs. One of the French words is l'oeuf...
At about 50x28 it just might reach across both their laps.
    Thanks for looking and reading!

Nice quilt. I just looked up l'oeuf & it is French for "the egg". So yours is the egg quilt ( ) & it's mighty pretty!

Classy quilt! I love that mix of fabrics, and I'm a sucker for French words and French decor.
