I think you may be right. i did several bookmarks to slip inside Christmas cards and suspect that that is why I dug this pattern out to work on it.

I had this pattern for years, just never did anything with it. Finally dug out all the wool, felted wool and flannel and started cutting out. And, the most amazing part is that it comes very close to the picture on the front of the pattern..Not all of my projects end up looking like they are suppose to! LOL
