    There are a lot of good books at the library... The most important thing is to practice, practice, practice..... the more you do the better you will get. Also some machines do free motion better than others. Make a quilt sandwich from half a yard of 1" polk a dot material then using wash a way thread in your bobbin meander around the polk a dots good way to start and will work to get you going. When you are finished spritz the back with water or wipe with a wet sponge then let dry and practice some more. That way you are only out the thread and have lots of practice. By the way way cool embroidery truly a wonderful WIP will watch to see it finished

    I understand you to say that you digitized the fish yourself. All I have are trout & maybe a type of bass. Would love to have this pattern. They are truly beautiful.
