Default little quilt

Yesterday was one of those days when I just wanted to sew something. It is relaxing to sit at the machine and sew. No pattern just stitching. I saw a block on pinterest that gave me an idea. I had a couple of odd 4 inch blocks. I just started adding strips and ended up with a cute fall topper. It looks good with my willow dishes. I posted a photo. Not a perfect job but none of mine are. It was just relaxing. I put the binding on(my favorite part of quilt making) this morning while watching the Duggers. judy j

Very pretty.....the colors make it look a little "autumnish".

Your little quilt is very nice, and looks nice in front of your pretty dishes.

I love to just sew strips at random and make into piano keys. It is then ready to edge a small quilt. Hugs

Very nicely done. Isn't it fun just to create something for your self without having to plan every step out?

Very cute and agree with you the binding is the best part of quilting.

That's nice! It is fun to sit and "just sew" sometimes.
