You can quilt out a lot of imperfections! Ask me how I know! We do hand quilting at our church and we get some old quilts that have been aging in trunks and have been found when the kids or someone had to clean out the house after a move to assisted living. We quilt them for the family. We have seen some beautiful vintage quilts. They are all treasures!

Wow, I can't believe you did all that quilting by hand. I just can't imagine doing that but I love hand quilted quilts. I understand why it took so long to finish. Hey, you did finish it!!
It's a very pretty quilt. Hopefully, you're a lot younger than I and can afford to make mistakes in choosing fabric, battting, etc. Probably, only YOU will know that it's not perfect. Lessons learned, huh? Why can't we do everything perfectly the first time around even if we have instructions???????????? I'm working on something right now and learning more lessons about designing, the hard way. I feel that I should have done a few things differently but.......................lesson learned.

There may be some parts of this quilt that bother you but someone in your family will treasure every bit of it.
