    Default Longarm quilting

This is the first quilt that I quilted on my new simply 16. I used black thread and the quilt was so dark I could not see what I was doing because there was no contrast between the quilt and the thread I felt like I was quilting in the Blind

I think it came out just fine. Did you want it to stand out? From a distance, it is tough to see, but the close up looks wonderful to me.

Looks good to me! Sometimes the quilting shows up well on the back, especially if the back is a lighter color than the front.

If you're having trouble seeing the thread, try changing the angle of the lighting. If you have access to a black light or red light, that sometimes helps.

Very pretty. I have problems unless I do it when strong light or sun is shining in the window. I have plenty of bright lights in sewing room. Daylight makes it easier to see.

Looks like you’re getting comfortable with your new LA...great job. I try to use thread with a little contrast, otherwise it is difficult to see where you’ve been.

Yes I am starting to get more comfortable and I agree with the contrast of the thread.
