    Default Making a Wool Penny Rug
    I haven't felt too much like making a traditional quilt lately so I've been just playing with circles of wool -- I made this large wool penny rug and hung it in my sewing room. The largest circles are 3" and I just kept adding rows until I was tired of it. It measures 39" from top to bottom. The three small pieces over the window are made from the designs in the book "Paper Cut Valentines."

    Wow!!! I've never heard of penny rugs ! They are very pretty! I like the things above the window too! Bet the rug took you quite some time!!!
