Absolutely stunning! What a nice tribute of the love you shared with your sister, and she knew that. I'm sorry for your loss, and pray you have some peace and comfort with your memories of her.

It must give you some comfort to know that your sister enjoyed your quilt and used it for as long as she did...absolutely beautiful.

This is beautiful. I am sorry she could only enjoy it such a short time. My sisters and I are getting older, I had wondered whether I would be able to handle this situation. I hope I can as well as you seem to be. I am so sorry for your loss.

Joeyoz I am so sorry to hear about your sister. How hard this must be for you. At least she got to see the beautiful quilt you made her. It is so lovely.
All my best to you and your family in your time of grief.

So this quilt is now my tribute to her memory. I hope you enjoy seeing it as much as she did.

Wow! Do ideas just come to you or do you use a pattern? This is wonderful. I am sorry about your loss, but your quilt is terrific. What a loving tribute! Gwyn

I'm not that creative. I have to use a pattern. Maybe someday I can make up my own pattern.

I posted another set of pictures to show the back that I pieced.

Very special quilt and I'm so sorry about your sis. Beautiful tribute to her. I'm thinking you must be a special lady to make it for her.
