    What an absolutely beautiful and touching tribute to your mom. Thanks for all of the input/info. What size did you end up with? I was in the middle of a similar quilt for my mom as we had to put her in a home. She passed away unexpectedly with a staff infection. SO, I think I'll finish what I started and maybe make something similar for the sisters and brothers. THank you so much for sharing.

    Beautiful! I made a memory quilt for my Mom. I was in a hurry to get it finished, so I tied it. After she passed, I had it quilted. When my sister was in Hospice 4 years ago with stomach cancer, I took it to her. It has now passed back to me and it will always be precious to me.

    It is a large lap sized quilt.
