Absolutely. I saw a finsihed quilt somewhere and reverse engineered it, but found out later after a bit of digging that the pattern is from Southwind Designs. Here is the link. It is a surprisingly easy block to make, although it looks complex.

O boy - If you search my name on the board you can see some of the work I posted. There are a number of projects! If you do see something you like and need the pattern, just PM me and I can give you the directions as long as they were not a purchased or copyrighted item. I have made everything from full size quilts to table runners and mug rugs. Another way to generate ideas is to look at the swaps going on - they give you a venue and stretch your creativity. For example, Rhonda is hosting her 5th wall hanging swap and that one is a lot of fun!
