    Why not make pillow cases that coordinate with the quilt colors for her to use until she gets the shams made? Maybe she'll use the quilt a little quicker.

    Hi,
    Welcome! That quilt is just lovely and what a compliment that she wants everything to go with it perfectly.
    Is it a Disappearing 9 patch? What did you start out with? I'm sorry but I just can't figure it out and I like the layout.

    I understand her logic. I made my happy hearts quilt, just so I had an excuse to paint my room pale blue. My room is cream and pale blue with black accents. Beautiful quilt.

    uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you could always do the shams for her like the quilt. The drapes and dust ruffle might be another story, but shams might get her inspired.
