I made a NYB table topper for our oldest daughter when I first started quilting. She loves it! When we go there, I look at it and can't believe I made it! Not perfect, but she likes it and that is what matters. Mariah.
Anxious to see it when it is done!

Wish I could learn to paper piece. This is so cool. I'm putting it on my list!

Did you find it hard to sew the blocks with the curves. That is one thing about that block that "scares" me.
I read a lot of tutorials about the NYB blocks first and decided it was easier for me to take the paper off before pinning the curved piece. I use lots of pins and just take my time. Don't be scared, just try it. If I can do it, I know you can!

Great fabric and color choices. It is very colorful and well done.

I hope that last line didn't come across the wrong way. Just jump right in and try a pattern. That's what I do. Sometimes I end up just doing one block. I guess I like the challenge of seeing how it's put together. haha I still have no idea about the quilting part. That's something I don't enjoy at all, but I still call myself a quilter.
