    I tried stitching the rug together first, thinking I would applique it on, but that didn't work very well. After a few rounds I ended up with ripples in the rug, and took out the stitches a couple of times. I ended up drawing my centre line, laying the first "round" of the rug on it, and zigzagging it down -- round and round, until it was the size I wanted. This worked really well!

    Wow, is that an awesome quilt to explore. I looked and looked and looked at the blocks. Each one is just so fun. and that braided rug is too cute.
