You can also order it from Amazon for 4.49 but shipping is 4.00 or 5.00. I learned this today at the quilt shop. The book is blue with a bed in the center.
While this pattern looks similar, it is not the same as the one I did. My pattern is one created by our Member Dunster, and she does have the pattern for sale on this blog.

This book by Eleanor Burns has the exact same pattern. In fact I saw the exact same quilt on an Amish website.

Your quilt is beautiful. I love to see the different color combinations different quilters use for this pattern.

You did indeed see a similar (but not identical) quilt on the Amish websites. I saw those quilts and was hooked on the design (which is not original to the Amish sites), but couldn't find a pattern anywhere.

However, the pattern that Eleanor has in her book for the Star Log Cabin is not even remotely similar to the Diamond Star Log Cabin. Her pattern for the Diamond Log Cabin table cloth is a little closer, but still not the same. As far as I know, I have the only pattern that is available for this design. If you would like to purchase one - just send me a pm.

That is super yummy! I am so beside myself to see different versions of this pattern, bc I bought it too! I guess I'm waiting till I'm braver.
I want to use some really yummy fabrics and don't want to mess it up :XD:

In case your question hasn't already been answered, go to member list and put in: dunster, then look under her, Diamond Star Log Cabin.
She has the most beautiful pink one that looks like it has lace on it.
She wasn't even into pinks and I fell in love with that!!! :D
Oh, she sells this pattern. She had it copyrighted. We have amazing talent right here on this board
