What quilt did you make that was the most challenging yet the most rewarding when finished? Mine is one that I made not long after I learned to quilt. I was a little too enthusiastic and decided to make a quilt for our king size bed. Needless to say it has been the most challenging one that I have done and have decided I probably won't do another king size quilt. I can't remember the name of it but fell in love with the pattern as did my DH. The pics are being it was quilted. I cheated and paid someone with a long arm to quilt it for me.

This is beautiful! I can see how it would be a bit ambitious for a beginner, but you did a wonderful job, and now you have this gorgeous quilt to show for your work. I have been quilting for a long time and I don't think I would attempt this one.

Awesome job!! Those are super hard, especially for a beginner.

I can't say that I have a favorite. Each quilt has been special to me in one way or another.

I designed this one myself (not that is that special or anything). It was the first time I had done applique. I was making it for my FIL for Christmas and was exactly on schedule to finish it.....Then, I bent down to pick up a sock and threw my back out. It took me an entire year to find the time to finish it. He got the quilt the next year on Christmas Day.

sorry, the pic isn't very good.

Wow that is a beauty! Nothing like my first quilt.
Love the pattern and the cheerful colors. My way I have lots of room to improve :-) your way you really had to work to top your first! Great job and beautiful keepsake.

I love your quilt!! You did an excellent job on it! I don't know when I'd have the nerve to attempt that pattern! I imagine it would take me years to do!
