    I think your use of two colors really shows off the pattern in all its simple beauty. Yours is lovely. When a wide variety of colors are used in the original nine patch you get a real scrappy look but the pattern takes a back place for sure. I guess that is why DP9 is so popular-it is super versatile.

    I love all the quilts with pictures...but do you notice that so many of the quilts have grown legs or feet....Lol....

    The way I see it, there are two blocks: one is five blue and four beige, and the other is five brown and four beige. Then the small center blocks are touching where you want them to; blue to blue and brown to brown. It would be interesting to color this out on graph paper.
