Thanks for all the nice words. The quilt is 81 inches by 81 inches (9 inch blocks). I was able to joins the blocks in groups of 3 by 3 and then I had a giant 9 patch and connected the sections together into rows and then joined the 3 rows. It went together this way super easy. I have enough left over fabric (I used 65 different fabrics) that I have 2 more purple quilts planned. However, I needed a break from working with batiks and have put that fabric aside for a while.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love purple and had a purple bedroom growing up with those 3 tier ruffle bed spreads in the 60's.

This is fabulous, A! I am so happy for you to have it finished and showing so well. The backing works great.

Just curious, do you think you will ever enter this one in a quilt show? It should be!

It should be on the stunning quilt category too. I just love it! Congratulations on this one.
