That is so pretty! Since I made the QAYG string quilt, I am looking at everything I want to do to see if I can do QAYG with the pattern!

I use to send all my quilts out to be quilted then the quilter began a full time job and didn't have time to quilt anymore. I was more or less forced to quilt my quilts and it was really hard at first but has gotton easier. Now i don't know why I didn't do it sooner! I still struggle with what design to put on them but I'm hoping that will get easier too. So don't worry and just jump in and get your feet wet!

There's no doubt that having a large quilt quilted by a long-armer is a MAJOR investment! But if you REALLY love the quilt, I think it's worth it--I just keep a revolving fund and throw in $10 or $20 whenever I have it for the next quilt. Of course, if I'm going to be able to afford to do all the quilts I have lined up, I'm either going to have to win the lottery or live to be 150!
