    was asked to make a rag quilt to raffle off for dog rescue benefit. teased the person who asked me to do it...said i have never done a rag quilt...have no idea what to do, i'll put a dog on it for you too! shouldn't have done that! she was very very enthusiast re: the dog idea. so between technique/pattern help fr couple of quilt acquaintences & web searches for 'rag quilts' came up with this. i designed it...and it was a big hit...she wants me to make more...really don't have time ...but it was fun!
    ...i forgot...and cant find the pic...but the backside is flannel cowboy doggy fabric with a couple of rows of the flannel western style paisley print that i used in the doggy scarf.

    thank you!! yes i do almost all of my own designs. just started my first from a pattern quilt since i started quilting 25yrs ago. tho i did change the color theme...and i [of course! :roll: ] redrafted it ....16" blks down to 8"...i prefer minis...but need something to take along to quilt group meets to work on :lol:

    Awesome quilt!!! Love the dog design, i don't think i have ever seen a rag quilt with a design in it. Very cool!
