What a fun quilt, love all the blocks on the barns and could see this as a great quilt for a group.

when I showed it to my guild sisters, they DIDN'T say, "Way to difficult" as they have with some of my designs, so I think it will really fly for next year.

An opportunity quilt allows the organization to opportunity for projects. In our case, it pays for all the prizes at our quilt show and our operating budget for the year, including upkeep on our long arm and some of our comfort quilt materials. Our quilt show is held jointly with our county fair. There is no additional entry fee and everyone is invited to show their quilts. The quilt is raffled. The guild also provides fundraiser quilts for the high school senior class, our local senior center, and the Children's Garden Project, among other activities. Another quilt in our area has much higher membership fees as well as quilt show entry fees but uses their opportunity quilt entirely for a couple of local charities.
