That is so cool! What in the world made you think of something like this? I made a cover for mine and thought that was good but this is great! All I can say is have fun and show us the final product.

That is terrific. From the title, I thought you had given it away.

By the way, I vote for frilly details. And climbing vines too.

Is there a way you could Velcro and make your windows, doors, etc.? Then, instead of paper dolls you could play "Machine Dress-up"!

    Default Great Idea!

What a great idea - then you could decorate for the seasons? I can see this becoming an ongoing piece of art!

Now this is something that would make me smile every time I went to my sewing room! You asked for input, so I would definitely add windows, shutters, flower boxes and door. Some outside greenery with a garden gnome. Hang a wreath on the door at Christmas and little twinkly lights on the gutters. Just thinking about the possibilities makes my day. Thanks for posting - now I have to make one too ;o)

It is cool! I think you have completed the hard part. Now it would be fun to add the details, buttons, ruffle scolors etc. I can see bias binding as the rain gutters and down spouts. You've got to have a cute door. Besides, doesn't your machine deserve a beautiful home at a snazzy address?
