I love your snowflake. We used to lose power all the time. Also on beautiful days. Sometimes it was just for a few seconds, sometimes a few hours. We called and called the utility company. They did nothing. My neighbor finally got fed up with it and called and threatened to report them to the utilities commission of the state. They knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it quickly. There is a gravel pit down the street from us. When the trucks backed off of the scale they would sometimes hit the utility pole and this would make our power go out. You could see the pole had been hit lots of times. They moved the pole and the problem was solved.
