Default My version of Storytimes Square quilt by Rae Hoekstra

I started with the pattern for the Storytimes Square quilt by Rae Hoekstra because I loved the look of it. (available as a free download from made-by-rae.com.) However I wanted to make a lap quilt, not a square quilt. So I added a line of thin "bricks" at the top and bottom of the quilt and one extra white border on the top and bottom.

Very pretty. I enlarge quilts if needed all the time. Piano key borders are a good way, they do take more time.

Love it. The colors against the white are so striking. I like the way you enlarged it.
