    Betty, such a heart warming gesture!! You are a real sweetheart. I believe that she will love her new table topper. You did a wonderful job on it.

    Thanks all for the kind words. I am very pleased with it!! I machine quilted the white and with hand quilting did an outline stitch 1/4 inch in on the red. This is the first thing that I have left spots unquilted on the LA and found the stars were "puffier" than I liked, but overall it came out square (lol).

    Her walls are stark white, white china and red and/or red and white accents. I do hope she likes it - she has spent the last 5 mo doing Chemo and is very upbeat about the surgery (more than I would be!!) I admire her attitude. It is just something small to let her know I care.
