    Three of the colors are solids, the others have subtle shading (bought at Hobby Lobby) or patterns. The white fabric has a white on white pattern of tiny circles (JoAnn Fabrics).

    I used 8-inch blocks instead of 6-inch blocks as in the quiltville pattern.

    I love it! The colors are great. But, truth be told I did "not" see the pinwheels at first. I saw the 16 patch suspended inside diamonds on point. Loved the look. Now, I see the pinwheels. Super cool pattern. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
