I goofed. I got a little carried away. I am working on Knot sews. I cut my border bigger than I needed because it always pulls in some when doing applique. Well, I used most of the border. Now when it is time to cut it down I will be cutting off the tips of some of my flowers.

I can either redo the flowers that stick out too far or if I have permission from Knot sew and the rest who will be working on this to make my round bigger.

I am sorry I am being such a pain in the you know where. I will do whatever you decide I need to do. Thanks.

I'm okay with a bigger border ... but, it isn't mine, however, the lady wants flowers, and LOTS of them! (some day, I am going to work on that quilt, and I don't do flowers .... yet <g>)
tell you what, Mary QUite Contrary ... you leave the flowers ... I will add the grass!!!!! <wave> ;-)

    :-( :|

    Strike that last comment!
I got so confused ... LOL ... nothing like getting everyone all up in a stir because Omak confuses the two pretty flower quilts.
I will put the grass in Knot Sew's quilt ... and, I am thinking baskets on the other one ... although ... I still do not do flowers ... yet! LOL <wave>

What do you think? Should I sew them on or should I start over with a whole new simpler approach? Do you want to see more close up pictures of this?

Please be honest with me here. I sure don't want to put this much work into something you don't like. Thanks
I'm not in this group but I think it's stunning, just send it my way??

Knot Sew....  Its beeeuuutteeeeeful! I think you've been holding out on us......you do wonderful applique!!!!

Mary...another option would be to see if Colletta can sew the tips down if it overlaps onto her border....you know, you could just pin them back and then let Colletta sew on her border, then she could stitch down your points....hows that for confusing the issue???

I have my idea, my fabric and Omak's center here all ready to get started. Its next on my list...and I can't wait to get started on it!

So Colletta, what do you think?
Do you want me to trim it down and leave petals for you to tack down?
Do you want me to send it as it is? Which is bigger than it should be.
Do you want me to make it the right size?

I really am fine doing whatever. KnotSew seems OK with whatever we do.

    Thanks
