Default Picasso Sunset quilted_pending final step

I'm excited and happy to have picked up my quilt from my LQS quilted. Now I need to add the bias and I'm torn to use
    1) the bias in the same fabric as the borders of the top OR
    2) sewing the bias using the fabric used on the reverse since it turned out beautiful and can look perfect all in one color.
Need to decide.....here are close up pics of quilted front and reverse side. Also pic of quilt top before quilting.

Ill post pic once it is completely finshed.

I think your backing fabric would be OK for your binding, or one of the dark fabrics from the top which would frame both sides beautifully

Somewhere on here or maybe YouTube or MQC I saw a binding that was made up of two fabrics, a seam in the middle, and it looked good. Try it with a small piece, and then decide. Happy quilting!

Gorgeous quilt. Either one will leave the quilt with that floating effect that you have now. They seem to be almost the same color.

Your quilt is beautiful! I would use the border fabric for the binding, not taking your eye away from those gorgeous blocks.

2 color binding would work well and easy to do. Lots of tutes out there on how to make it.

That is just beautiful! I would use a dark binding because it would frame the piece. WOW! What an achievement!
