    Default picnic blanket

after making two for teachers of different kinds, i decided we needed one. so here it is!

i am so thankful to the inbox jaunt for all the work lori does to put up her tutorials. my machine quilting is coming along, and her playfulness and encouraging tones have helped immeasurably.

one thing that drives me nuts is not being able to see the quilting after putting so very many hours into it. i wish you, if interested, could come have some cherries and lemonade and wander around this one. i'm pretty chuffed about it.

it has poly inside and an old sheet from my gran's cupboard on the back. i could NOT get them to stay still, and it has some pretty ugly creases in the back. and i'm totally okay with that. it's meant to get dirty and stained and collect memories from events and beaches and camping trips and life.

    thanks for being here

Very nice. And I love it hung up with the sun shining through. The seams show like a coloring book outline on the blocks. That makes it look so cumphy, I just want to roll around on it.

I love it. I, too, enjoy Lori's blog on Inbox Jaunt.

Wish you would show more of your FMQ. Beautiful colors.

I think it's so pretty, and artsy too. I like what you said about the stains it will get with real life in it. Thank you for sharing. It will stay with me.
