    Default Polka dot sawtooth

All polka dots, including the black background fabric, a tone on tone, circles that you can't see in the picture. I love polka dots! The green in the sawtooth is a lime green, really catches your eye, but looks a bit washed out in the photo, at least on my computer. And tha sashing is a lime batik. Thanks for looking.

All I had left was one 2-1/2" strip, I had thrown away the rest of the selvedges when I cut this out last week. All it says on my little piece is @2005 Copyright N.T. and nothing else, sorry. It was a piece given to me for a charity quilt, didn't notice how long she had been hanging on to it! But I think it was finally put to good use.

Still not too crazy about plain old-fashioned polka dots, but love the ones with multi sizes and multi colors like the one in this quilt. Also like the ones with a largish polka dot with a small polka dot in the middle of it.

And by the way -- does anyone know the history behind the name of this pattern?
