    The quilt looks great! I noticed that you are using Janome Horizon...I just can not get along with Horizon.....it seems so big and the dial thing always in the wrong spot..I just can't love it like I did with my old Bernins....I would be interested in knowing how you feel about your Horizon....it may just be me!

    It's really strange because it he just started doing this "suddenly". Hopefully it is out of his system now as he had never done that before. He did it two times that one day, but didn't do anything today while I was working on another quilt...so strange...

    I know that I have to be careful--and I've stopped him from eating thread.

    I have to admit that I jumped from a $200 machine (basic Pfaff) to a $2000 machine two years ago and I really like it. It is heavy and sews really, really well. It also has a lot of light. I had never owned a "high end" machine--or even ever sewn on one before, so of course, I'm happy!

    I've never owned a Bernina and they don't seem to sell many here in Poland, so I probably won't ever get one unless we move back to the states. They certainly have a good reputation.
