    Default quilt for DG

This is quick and easy quilt, the background is black per DG wish. It is quite big, 86x98. I am not sure how I am going to quilt it yet, most likely just straight lines and I am searching for a thread to quilt with, all I have are light colors. Any suggestions as to what thread color to use will be appreciated. Should it be black for the black and color for colors? I looked at variegated thread but did not like it that much.
    thank you.

If it were me, I would use a variegated thread, it would really pop on the black. Beautiful quilt.

It looks modern so I might quilt straight lines in black. I know black thread on black can be difficult to see but if you are just quilting straight lines you don't need to see. Neat, graphic looking quilt top!

Neat and colorful top! I'd suggest black thread too. You won't be seeing much of it~

as I am looking for a thread on the web, I see color 'charcoal' and I think that I like it better then black. I am still looking for a backing, too. Hard to find and decide for a boy's quilt.

I really like your quilt! I can see how making a decision as to quilting thread would be hard, though, and I'm wondering if you could just avoid crossing any of the colors since any color you choose would look jarring. That way you could use black in a linear pattern in the large diagonal areas and "triangle" in the black half-squares leaving the colors alone.
