    God bless you for a job well done! (Good way to use up scraps too. I made 7 sets for Christmas gifts and thought that was a big job.)

    Since the OP was 2016... Wonder how those bowl huggers are doing.......any caught on fire in the micro...which seems to be the downside of them...

    You have done a lovely thing and I am sure they will be greatly appreciated. However from what I have read, do not heat your soup with these. Use it only as a holder. They are apt to catch fire even with all cotton thread, batting and fabric. Scary to say the least.
