Default Rami Kim method of woven tumbling blocks

I took a class from Rami Kim on weaving fabric to make tumbling blocks. I sadly forgot to take pictures of two as they hurriedly were finished wrapped and given as gifts. These are three I made for my sister. She loves purple as you might suspect. One became a pillow, another a large trivet with Insulbrite and batting and the small one, my first, is just a little mug rug.

Very pretty! I believe I watched this method years ago by Georgia Bonesteel on TV?

First of all, your purple fabrics are beautiful. Great job on your sister's gifts.

I once saw a recording of Georgia Bonesteele doing this but I have never tried it. Your quilts look great.
