    that is really pretty. The color catchers can be found at Walmart with the laundry detergent. I have been unable to find them at our local grocery stores.

    I use half a cup of regular, old fashioned vinegar in my wash... try it on scraps to see if it works for you!

    phew! the color catcher must have worked.....coudnt find the cheer/dark colors so got woolite for darks that claims not to bleed/fade colors.
    Worked great......quilt is washed with no issues!

    beautiful quilt. the color catchers are in the laundry soap with the stain removers they are in a box like dryer sheets. sorry i can't give any advise on the quilting maybe a shadow affect around the blocks???
