WOW!!!! That is an absolutely stunning quilt!!!! I love it. So gorgeous. I will have to try that one in the future.
Just out of curiosity, with your 51 different floral, how many strips did you cut of each, or in other words how much fabric. Did you use fat quarters/quarter yards or less? I have a huge collection of floral fabrics and could almost make one sort of similar with only having to pick up some lights and was curious. I have never made a log cabin quilt, but I really really like what you did there!!!!

Your quilt is stunning. What a beautiful job you did. I hope you patted yourself on the back, you deserve it for this one.

Gayle--I have no idea how many strips it took. I just cut away and hang them all on my wooden ladder. If I run out of one--I look to see if there's more. So--no clue. Sorry!!

Thanks for the warm fuzzies, everyone! :D :D

Oh - that's spring in all it's glory. Gorgeous quilt. For my 2 cents worth - I like it without a border. But what do I know?

    Hi Karla,
I love the daisy with the black back ground great looking fabric but might not work with how light your BEAUTIFUL QUILT is!! LOVE IT YOUR QUILT!
Is this paper pieced? Great job and love the back too with your seams all lovely and streight! Hard to do I'll have to admit! I try but seem somebody always has their one mind made up and ends up going the way they wish!

Just beautiful! Like going to sleep in a garden - er under a garden. Oh well.
For what it's wprth, I think you should add a narrow plain border, wider floral border, and another plain one.
Whatever you decide, it will be gorgeous.

Hi Karla - WOW that turned out OK, didn't it? Did I say OK? I meant BEAUTIFUL!!! And I see you let a few of those sunflowers stay - just enough! I liked the bottom of the three fabrics for a border but I'M not going to stop you if you feel you have to go shopping! :D

Karla, that is one of the most beautiful quilts I've ever seen. And Ducky took the words right out of my mouth! I know that I'm going to be hoarding florals now so I can make one too! WOW!!!!!!
